Seriously, I have no idea.

It’s a guess-and-try method.

When you add tags to your story, you see the number of writers in the bracket.

Use the tag if the number is between a hundred and four thousand.

Followers of the tag don’t matter. It’s all about the number of writers in that tag.

Search those tags which have a low number of stories. Use them if only a few writers are active in those tags.

You have to compete with the writers. So, choose the tag where competition is low.
